Deacon's - Torrington

We rolled in half an hour before closing after we were on the road for hours. We were welcomed like family and then the best meal was given! I had ribeye and potatoes and Braunschweig. It was like sitting in the mother's kitchen served a plate of love! Hubbie had Burger. Can not recommend enough!!!

The first time here. Friendly hometown atmosphere. The food was delicious, a wide selection of dishes on the menu at reasonable prices. I can't go wrong here.

We've been coming to Deacons for 5 years. We never had a bad experience. They were always super good and had good food. The waitresses were always attentive to us, often not asked if we need to refill our drinks, but just do. They were very good at changing orders when they were asked. We never had less than good food. Very recommended!

Stunning menu. Not your typical small place price; Steaksalat, salmon, cordon blue, steaks, .... beer wine (on soon back). Yesterday, the shrimp campi had. Shrimp noodles cooked for perfection (most restaurants overcook both noodles -soggy shrimp -rubbery), not here, perfectly made!

Gumbo was delicious and club sandwich was awesome. Halibut sandwich was kinda oily. Service was wonderful. I am surprised that the food is not very salty. Love it.
