Wahoo's Fish Taco - Torrance

I drove to Torrance to try Wahoo's and ordered the Baja Lada's while my companion chose the steak enchiladas with red sauce. We also got an order of onion rings, which turned out to be my favorite part of the meal. However, I was quite disappointed with the amount of plastic used to serve the food—especially in the current COVID-19 climate, it seems like everything is packaged in plastic. I specifically requested my food be served in a paper tray, but it still arrived in plastic. Overall, I was not satisfied with my meal. The rice and beans lacked any flavor, and what I thought were enchiladas turned out to be a wrap with enchilada sauce on top. My dining companion, though, said the steak was good and enjoyed his enchiladas. On a final note about the plastic: since people are dining in, why use a lid for the ranch or ketchup? This not only would save the restaurant some costs but also reduce plastic waste.

I had a great experience at this restaurant! There’s plenty of parking available, making it convenient. The menu is simple yet offers some fun options to choose from. The staff is really cool and friendly, which added to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. The place was clean and beautifully decorated with lots of holiday lights and stickers, giving it a festive vibe. I had a wonderful time here with my dad, and I appreciated that they serve beer with the meals, too!

This was our first time dining at this restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. I ordered the Carnitas Tacos and a Cheese Enchilada with black beans, while my husband enjoyed the fish tacos and soup.

The experience was quite basic, and the food was just passable. It wasn't bad, but it didn't stand out in any way. I might have just made a poor choice with the Banzi Shrimp Burrito. As for the service...

Every Sunday, we get together with friends, and I absolutely love the Nachos and Taquitos, as well as their well drinks. Our server was friendly and attentive too.
