Sushi Anza - Torrance

The best sushi I've had honestly. Stepped inside and was acknowledged immediately, and everyone was really friendly. It's a little small but I love that it has that traditional sushi bar feel.

This is the worse sushi restaurant I have EVER gone to. First we waited 40 minutes for our order and when we did our order was wrong. Then 10 more minutes later my daughter got her sushi burrito and it was bad tuna. Totally rancid. Disgusting, brown with white, looked like some kind of bug. My daughter actually swallowed it. She almost threw up. I have eaten sushi for over 30 years. Totally disgusting. I don't see how they didn't notice when they were making it. How???

This place is super cute, from the outside it doesn't look like much but it is such a clean environment. The sushi is THE BEST in the South Bay the fish is so so so fresh it nearly melts in your mouth. The waitress that was serving us was so sweet! Highly recommend and the price is perfect!

Sushi Anza is a small mom pop hole-in-the wall Japanese restaurant in Torrance. It's been around for awhile so it's a go-to place for a chill casual night out. The restaurant is really small and doesn't have a lot of tables inside so I like coming here for takeout. They get a bunch of takeout orders so order way ahead of time because it takes awhile. This place is great for sushi. My favorite roll to get is the eel avocado roll. The staff is very nice and friendly. Parking is free and in front of the restaurant. Can't wait to come back here again!

I'm surprised this place isn't at least 4.5 stars!Service is great but damn the fish might be the freshest I've had in the South BayJaponica was my spot since i moved to the area but I'm excited to come back!In addition, big slices of FRESH fish is such a hard find nowadays. Prices are reasonable for portions!
