Bidrage med feedbackThey are now the new Jang Su Jang a few doors down. Food is still delicious with a lot of different dishes to choose from. I got the Yookejang Kalguksoo spicy beef hand torn noodles. Broth is delicious and noodles are nice and chewy. My son got the Beef Bulgogi that was also very good. This is my second time and they definitely didn't disappoint.
I was sad when Cho Dang closed, but they have temporarily moved to this location since they are owned by the same folks I heard. I love their seafood pancake and soon tofu!
We love Da Maat, they have wide varieties of excellent food, it's our go-to Korean restaurant in the area. They are closing and moving a few doors down this week! It will have a new name and be the first shop in the mall. The new name is Jang Su Jang, like their sister store in the Bay Area. We are looking forward to the new store and hoping it gets an even wider menu like the Bay Area store!
Our old place closed. Sign said to go here. We were not disappointed.
I inquired about the bibimbap, which is their house specialty, but the young man seemed to struggle to provide answers. It was disappointing to see that the only interactions in Korean were with the white or Asian customers. I was dressed well, in fact, I was wearing a designer jacket and glasses, so it was disheartening to feel that the only thing they saw was my skin color. If Da Maat has an issue with Indian customers, it would be better to post a sign. I left feeling insulted, and experiences like this can severely damage a business’s reputation. There's no denying that racism leaves a lasting impact.
