John and his wife have been great to us everytime we go in. John even speaks Spanish fluently which caught me by surprise the first time I heard it. Very friendly to us and knowledgeable about their meats! They cut the meat in house with their awesome staff. I always have a great experience with their products and come back often to get my fill on wagyu and pork belly. They carry other exotic meats too, always worth checking out to see what's new and different.

A couple years ago I found this place, and I am so glad I did. Originally, I came here for my shabu shabu meat needs, and never went anywhere else! Needless to say, when you're inside you can't help but get distracted by all of the amazing cuts of meat in the counter.Everything is so clean, and the owners are friendly and eager to answer any question you may have. I have recommended many friends and coworkers to go there, and they all say the same thing... they won't go anywhere else. The quality is top notch and better than Costco.I brought my boyfriend from South Carolina (whose hobby is to BBQ all sorts of meat, and he was amazed at the selection and marbling of everything! We called and ordered a tomahawk steak for an anniversary weekend, and it was the best steak we have ever had.This weekend, day before Christmas we were on the search for oxtails. We stupidly checked grocery stores and everywhere was sold out. We stopped in the meat market and they had someone's order for oxtails but it was the last pack. The owner was very sweet and remembered us! With a smile, he said to come back in about 40 minute; (their butcher was on a lunch break, and he would have some sliced for us.I missed a phone call but got a text message saying our oxtails were ready only about 20 minutes later! We were so thankful for their help and it made the best Christmas dinner ever.I am more than happy to support a local family owned butcher shop, especially one that is so clean and helpful!Be sure to check out the refrigerated sections for assortment of kimchi, pickled veggies, and even some delicious looking lemonade.
