Ricardos Italiano - Torquay

Oh my goodness!!! We absolutely loved this restaurant. The service was prompt and friendly the food was beyond amazing and sooo delicious, the atmosphere and decor is great and the price is very reasonable. Richard (owner) even gives the personal touch of asking every table if they are enjoying their meal. The menu has so many yummy choices that I have no choice but to go back again and again. My new favourite place to eat by far.

Sensational service from friendly, knowledgeable staff. Everyone is attentive and happy to help. Then there is the food so ridiculously good! Fresh local ingredients make for a delicious menu. We had calamari, trio of dips and garlic bread for starters followed by a main of beef cheeks and another of pescatore linguine, then deserts including tiramisu and gelato. Could not fault any of the food, any of the staff or the lovely setting. We had a toddler and baby which was no problem at all and had a beautiful evening. Happy to recommend Ricardos and will definitely be returning.

I was pleasantly surprised by my experience. I have to admit that I came in with low expectations, but they were far exceeded. The service was excellent, and the owner made occasional check-ins, which was a nice touch. I'm already looking forward to returning to try more dishes from the menu. The beef cheeks were outstanding. I wouldn't mind seeing a few higher-end wines added to the selection, although what I had was quite good.

I highly recommend this restaurant! The service is excellent, the food is outstanding, and the decor is stylish and trendy. And don't miss out on the best pizza with Nutella, banana, and melted marshmallows—it’s phenomenal!

I truly have no complaints. The service was incredibly quick; our plates were cleared within 5 to 10 minutes after finishing our meals, yet the staff was never intrusive. The food was fantastic, and the prices were surprisingly reasonable given how much we ordered. My favorite part was the option for takeaway, which allowed us to enjoy the dessert pizza at home before our toddler had a meltdown. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and we will definitely return regularly. Thank you!
