The Stockyards Smokehouse & Larder

This is one of my favorites when I am in Toronto. I arrived late so I missed the Tuesday BBQ chicken and Ribs. I when to my old stand by 4 piece chicken in a skillet. It is southern fried chicken with home cut fries. Always a winner. Sit at the counter and watch the cook prepare burgers grilled cheese right in front of you. It is always very entertaining. Food is good,service is vey good and prices are reasonable. don't miss this place.

My family members and I absolutely love this restaurant! It may take some time to get a seat, but it is well worth the wait. The chicken and waffles are awesome, the ribs are awesome, the pulled pork is awesome, the burgers are awesome, and after trying the brisket, you'll be willing to sell your soul for another order! It is that good! Quite simply, you cannot go wrong with anything that you order at this place.

I love the Stockyards. The food is fabulous. I can't believe how great the staff are - they are always on top of your order and doing more for you. The fried chicken and waffles is phenomenal! I have tried many times to replicate their biscuits - they are just so wonderful. I always take some home with me. You can't ask for better food!

Great BBQ, fried chicken and burgers. It's a 20min taxi from Downtown Toronto and you will probably have to queue (can't book) but it is worth it. Great ribs, the burger was superb and I tried my GFs fried chicken also! That was amazing (not usually a fan). Reasonable prices but they don't have a liquor licence and run out of ribs / BBQ quickly so make sure you get here before 730pm! Very friendly staff. Enjoy.

What a great place, small but very welcoming. Friendly staff that are clearly passionate about their menu.This is genuinely the best burger i have ever consumed, it lived up to its name 'The Beast'.The chicken dinner was also truly sublime, and that coleslaw is just to die for!
