The Hot House - Toronto

Nice welcome. Prompt service. We enjoyed the antipasto, followed by a pasta and the New York strip steak, cooked to perfection. Nice friendly setting and good choice of wines. Recommended.

Family visiting from out of town so we needed to find a place where there was lots of different choices. Missed the previous extensive menu. However Hot House didn't disappoint. Still good selection. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Server was great. She was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Food always good and prices reasonable. Will be back.

Had an opportunity to dine at this restaurant after attending a show in Toronto and was very impressed with the food and service. We visited on a Wednesday when there was a buffet and the selection was excellent, something for everybody. Especially liked the salmon and the Manhattan seafood chowder. BBQ chicken was excellent as well. We went with a bus tour to the theatre and the meal was included in the price, so I am unsure of the cost but based on the tour price I believe it is quite reasonable. Like most downtown restaurants it is unlikely to have on site parking but the food is well worth a short walk from nearby parking.

We went as a large group of 18 people. Since it was planned in advance, we were able to take advantage of the "group" menu. Excellent selection of options, large portions, lovely layout of seating so that we could all see each other and converse. Staff accommodated us graciously, especially when they knew we were going to see a show right after. Will definitely go ahead and recommend to friends and family.

This multi legal bar/restaurant is quite busy because it has good food and excellent service. There are several options for seating groups of various sizes.
