Thai Elephant - Toronto

This Thai restaurant is fantastic! I have ordered from here multiple times through Uber Eats and have always been satisfied. The panang curry is served in a generous portion and the sauce is outstanding. Be prepared to take a nap after enjoying this delicious meal!

This is probably the best Thai food I have ever had. The dishes were flavorful, the menu had a great variety, the portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable.

The servings were generous at this restaurant, which is a plus because you'll probably have leftovers. The service was a bit slow even though we were one of only two tables in the restaurant, but it seemed that they were busy with a lot of delivery orders.

As a New Yorker I am very lucky to have access to every cuisine from around the world. Thai food is one of my favorites and I can compare having been to Thailand also. This has been one of my favorite restaurants for Thai cooking....I have eaten here for one week every day and loved it. Good food, good friendly service and prices are very affordable. I cannot wait to return to Toronto to eat here again. Thank you for some great dining experiences, keep up the great flavors!!!

The main problem with the Thai Elephant was the lack of running water in both customer bathrooms. Yes, both taps were busted. When we reported this to staff, someone reluctantly went down and reported he had managed to get them running again, but it won't...be too long until they bust again the handles on the faucets are held on by a wing and a prayer. This experience took place after we were served a nice bowl of green curry and no utensils to get it out of the bowl and onto our side order of noodles. It took quite some time to get someone to bring us spoons. This detracted from what was otherwise a fine meal a substantial green curry and a chicken satay with a thick and tasty peanut sauce. No televisions, which was also good. So they know their food but they are serving it in an environment that is less than friendly. Hence the three star review.
