Shawarma Frenzy - Toronto

Where else can you get a full plate of ultra fresh, healthy, flavourful, and positively delicious food for less than $8? Shawarma is wonderfully spiced. (I had the small plate which was a satisfying meal and begs the question of how large the large is. The freshest salad. Even includes pickles. Unbelievable quality to value ratio. Beautifully and thoughtfully plated with care by lovely, polite people. Take-out and a few tables. Absolutely yummy.

I am a regular here, it is a hidden gem near pape subway station. Usually order the chicken shawarma and the falafel wrap, very reasonably priced and they taste amazing. Authentic stuff! Recommend you order in advance before coming in, very busy and they are short staffed. But worth the wait!

Living in East York near Greektown I have easy access to what must be 100 chicken places (shawarmas, souvlaki,fried, baked etc). Well, after visiting Shawarma Frenzy this past weekend, this is my new #1 take-out/fast-dining place. The chicken was amazing (crispy bits and juicy bits mixed), the toppings were great, the rice was great, and even the salad was well above average. It is an order-at-the-counter place and is clean and welcoming. They use real plates and cutlery, not plastic, for those eating there. Hooray! The small dinner with salad was under $9. It was so delicious and large enough for me (I am tall and not skinny). (Washrooms are in basement though)

We have been taking out food from Shawarma Frenzie for over a year now and have never been disappointed. I'm a big fan of their falafel wrap and my husband loves their Shawarma (both the dinner plate and wrap). The owners are very friendly and accomodating. Facility is clean and well kept. Would highly recommend.
