Bidrage med feedbackWe ordered the drunk noodles with chicken and Massaman beef curry. Everyone was $15 for lunch. Shares were average. Taste was average. The drunk noodles were very similar to Padthai, but with more soy sauce. It tasted like something I could get in a little dish. The Massaman Curry was better, but it was too sweet. The staff was friendly, but nothing extraordinary. The attitude is too full. Many tables (including our) were only 6 inches away from another customer table. We practically sat at the same table. There is not even enough space for a person to go between the separate tables. It made it a little unpleasant for the conversation. Overall, I wasn't woven and I wasn't probably back.
For dinner. went at 5:30 on table for 4, the waiter told us there that they had reservation for this table at 7:00. You didn't tell us about the phone this time! If we have made reservations, do not think that we deserve to be limited to 1.5 hours. The eggplants stir fry did not even come with rice. It was small square bowl. I asked a bowl of white rice and costs $3. The online menu on the Auberginen website is $10 when in the restaurant it is $11. My friend ordered the Thai noodles and they found hair in them. Service is whatever. The young guy was busy with half the restaurant. Small place.
I went to this restaurant on a Wednesday night around 7 or 7:30 and it was packed. I suggest making a reservation. We ordered 4 dishes for 3 people and I'm glad we did because the portions were quite small. The khao soi and panang curry were mostly sauce. The drunken noodles were my favorite. The Lao BBQ was not worth the $17 price in my opinion. It only came with 3 small chicken legs, a tiny side salad, and the rest was garnishes and sauce. The food tasted great, but I was disappointed with the portion sizes.
I had lunch with a friend at this restaurant. Make sure to arrive a bit early or be prepared to wait for a table. Once seated, we were informed that there was a one-hour time limit for lunch service, but that was not enforced. The Tom Yum soup was delicious and the drunken noodles were superb. The dishes were not overly spicy, but they were served with plenty of fresh and dried Thai chilies on the side. I would definitely eat here again!
I recently visited this restaurant for the first time on Tuesday, even though it has been open for a few years. I was extremely impressed by the delicious food, great service, and overall experience. Despite not having a reservation, we were able to sit at the large bar where the bartender was welcoming and friendly. The staff was pleasant and we had a wonderful time. I can't wait to go back again soon.
