Very disappointing, especially in comparison to the previous year. the chef did not know how to cook halibut was dry and hard. he shocked by $49. ordering of 2 of 4 of us on the recommendation of the server. service slowly and we got a bad table near the busy server station. all this for a $400 plus meal for two. Why didn't we complain? I just don't trust a kitchen. they asked for a review; here it is.

Ambiance was good, but for the second day in a row we sat in “the alley”, not quite as private and quiet as we would have wished. service was slow, but we were not in a hurry. the food was excellent, except the scalopp (singular) plate, which was disappointing for a digby native, like the tiny portion coffee ice cream, in contrast to the lush dessert, ordered by another of our party. otherwise, a pleasant meal.

The price for brunch was a little for what it was. I would suggest waffel or pancakes on the menu if the price for children is between 5 and 10 to be so high.

Really fine experience with firm preparation of food and perfect service. remembered this older guy of the 'days when.' only neg. watching is that the tables are a little small for 4 people.

It was really a great experience. Nice place with great everything, food, service and ambiance. Great place for a date :
