Bidrage med feedbackI came to a late lunch with my family. The restaurant is cozy and surprisingly spacious. The service was fantastic and everyone was friendly. The food tasted extremely fresh and not oily at all. Great place for fried seafood and I would definitely recommend it to anyone whose desire fish and chips in the city. Come back here. The only negatives are some of the seats sticky (probably from the cleaning solution they use), and the pimple was pretty bad.
Lunch on Saturday was fishy. We ordered Calamari grilled, Red Snapper grilled and roasted Halibut. The plates were large, fish proportions enough. Two of us chose salad instead of fries, which was again a beautiful part. The Red Snapper was delicious. Halibut I would rather have roasted pan not deep. And the Calamari meat. The service was efficient and staff friendly and well maintained. I'll be looking for Lobsters right away.
A long favorite restaurant at St. Lawrence Market! This restaurant with fishing in the countryside has a great service and delicious food. Very happy to see they're still here. Yesterday I ordered my visit: Seafood Platter. I enjoyed the grilled seafood spread of Calamari, octopus, shrimp and swordfish. I ordered it with a green salad (other options are Greek salad or pommes) and it comes with 3 diving sauce and Coleslaw. Currently they have indoor and outdoor terrace. And for the summer, the entire Market Street has only closed for pedestrian traffic. The street has picnic tables and Muskoka chairs on the paved stone road. Very recommended!
We enjoyed it, three Tacos, BBQ Oktopus, Calamari and Crabcake Sandwiches. Market Street Catch is always great for its range of seafood via Fritten. The staff is friendly and there are seats inside and outside. If they are busy, there are many outdoor spots to eat when the weather is cooperative.
I had a wonderful dining experience at this restaurant! Some dishes really stood out for me, with large portions and good value for money. The service from the staff, especially Elisa, was outstanding. Here are some details: the dining area isn't huge, with about 6 tables seating 2-4 people each. If it's busy, there's a long bar table facing the open kitchen that seats 6-8. The patio is a great option this time of year, with about 4 tables seating 2-4 people each. You order at the counter for both dine-in and takeout, and they give you a number and bring the food to you when it's ready. The food was delicious! The Lobster Roll was a clear favorite, with big chunks and a touch of spice for some kick. The Grilled Octopus was also a winner, but make sure to eat it right away to avoid it getting too chewy. For fried food fans, the Halibut is a must-try. All the fixings were top-notch, especially the tartar sauce and coleslaw (which, by the way, is a dry coleslaw, which I personally prefer).
