Marcello's Pizzeria - Toronto

I visited Marcello's twice and both experiences were a delight. The authentic Italian cuisine, from the wood-fired pizza to the pasta, was exceptional.

Although I miss some items from the previous menu, the food is still delicious. I have lived in the opposite area for almost 35 years, and I frequently visit this restaurant when I return. It remains one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the city. However, the kitchen staff seems to change frequently, so the quality of the food can vary from day to day. Nevertheless, the pizza is particularly good on some days.

The pizza was delicious and the soup was pretty good. The staff were nice, but the decor and appearance of the coffee could use some improvement. Overall, it was a dependable dining experience.

This place was an institution as long as I know. I was presented here by a budding colleague in an Italian radio station where I worked in the late 90s. I used to dinate them quite regularly, but not recently because of so many other options always appear. the visit last night was the first in about 6 years and I am glad to say that it is still as fantastic as it was back when I remembered. quality, huge portions, friendly service. you can say there is a ton of masters and that is in the rule a very good sign. they will not be disappointed. I put this place back in rotation. I'll be back soon.

This place is glorious! It's cozy and bright with impeccable service, the best Caesar salad in the city and absolutely delicious pasta and pizza. The pricing is very reasonable for what you get. I always bring people here when they visit because it's the best around.
