Stopped by this pub for a beer and a bite to eat. Although the back patio is very nice on a lovely summer day, the experience was a bust. The beer was warm. The kale salad was horrible - the kale was certainly not washed. Every bite included a lot of grit/sand. Sadly, I won't go there again, even though I love visiting the neighbourhood.

The title says it all. I understand that sometimes circumstances can prevail and restaurants can be short staffed. But there is a difference between slow service and terrible service and this was definitely the latter. And the average burger and out-of-date salad did nothing to redeem the experience.
