Laterna Dining Room - Toronto

This restaurant is right by where I live so I've been here about 2 or 3 times.

I was so excited about finally getting to check this place outEvery single time I have driven by it seemed packed or with lines out the door.

Been going and ordering from here for years. The Gyros super souvlaki is always fresh and tasty, and the pita bread is great. Both the Greek and Caesar Salad are done with their own dressing and are quite generouslysized .

One had King Neptune Salad a lot of lettuce with a few pieces of cucumber, onion, unripe tomato, and a few ounces of crab meat for over $20. One had Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and one had Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Home made Meatballs with two meatballs about 1 oz. each. One had Veggie souvlaki wrap (soe lettuce, a few pieces of cucumber and tomato, a sprinkle of feta, a splash of tzatziki) for $14?! The Chicken Skewer ... 5 tiny morsels of meat, maybe a total of 2.5 oz, for $8?! Total cost $105 including 13% HST, 6% Door Dash fee, and a tip for the dasher. Far too expensive for very average food. Unlikely to order from here again.

The large Greek salad for $21:00 . Was a small with a sprinkling of feta. Very dissatisfying, 2 chicken souvlaki . Total over $70. Total rip off. Oh and I paid an additional $3 for a tiny container of tsasiki and another $7.00 for extra feta. The sprinkles they put on top wouldnt fill the little containers. Buy a head lettuce and feta. Feeling ripped off
