Lambretta Pizzeria - Toronto

After attending a ski show, five of us visited this restaurant and ordered pizzas, spaghetti, and meatballs. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the restaurant is located in a clean, well-lit area on Roncesvalles. We sat on benches at a long table.

This restaurant is wonderful. The pasta is cooked perfectly. I personally had the spaghetti with bolognese sauce and it was one of the best I've ever tasted. The gnocchi are large, flavorful, and just the right texture. The special mac and cheese with bacon is delicious, but my child didn't like it. She enjoyed the plain spaghetti with cheese instead. I didn't try the ravioli, but I heard they were also excellent. The waitress was very attentive and friendly.

I would not recommend ordering the gluten-free pizzas at this restaurant. The crust seemed to be a generic frozen gluten-free pizza crust that you can find in a grocery store, and I was not impressed. There are other places on Roncesvalles, such as Pizzeria Defina, that have much better gluten-free crust options. I will not be returning here in the future.

Fiancé and I came to this spot hungry for lunch. Both wanted pizza and we got the Clasica pizza. IT WAS DELICIOUS!!! We also ordered a salad to share and this was also very tasty. The marinara and caramelized onion on the pizza were amazing. Was not very busy when we came in but we were greeted right away to sit wherever we liked. Very pleasant experience and service was great.

Saturday summer dinner with friends. Great restaurant and atmosphere, good service with delicious food. I was surprised how quiet it was for a weekend, we were pretty much the only table that night (must be the pandemic).I was able to try their Pesto Gemilli pasta that included chicken, cherry tomatoes, basil and caramelized onions. The flavour awesome and pesto sauce was creamy, blended well throughout.As for pizzas, they were great. The Fig pizza had a good balance of savory from the Prosciutto and sweetness from the fig and honey. High Park pizza had a nice spicy kick, and the Lambretta had a fresh arugula taste topped with their tomato sauce.Definitely recommend this Italian spot.
