Joy Thai Restaurant - Toronto

We enjoyed our meal at this Thai restaurant, although it was a bit pricy. We tried a variety of dishes including pad thai, pad see ew, spicy beef pad kee mao, green curry, spicy beef, spring rolls, and coconut chicken soup. The standout dishes were the green curry and coconut chicken soup. However, we were disappointed with the overly salty spicy beef and the bland pad see ew. We would suggest trying other menu items next time.

We love this restaurant. fast service, cheap prices, large portions. they often adapt our orders without complaining. you eat is fresh and authentic thai. we order often also remove and it is just as delicious as if we go in person.

Simple decor, no tablecloths, but neat and clean. The restaurant was empty at pm when we arrived. I was a bit concerned about that, however we discovered, but realized later that they have mostly take-out service.

This is a place I come back to again and again when I am in the area. I love their hot and sour soup. It is the benchmark upon which I rate all others and their green Thai curry is fantastic! They have great lunch...specials and are quick to fill orders.

Saw online that it was overall rated a so we went in. After visiting I wouldn't rate it as highly. Very good service, the server was attentive and friendly but the food was just average thai food. We ate the vegetable spring rolls which...were very bland, orders of pad thai (very minimal toppings and also bland tasting) and thai vegetable soups (also mediocre but the best part of the meal). Wouldn't go out of my way to return.
