Itamae Sushi - Toronto

I have been to itamae a bunch of times and I have to say, their food never fails to be amazing. They have some of the best sushi/ seafood i've ever had along with a great food in general like teriyaki and curry. There is a great variety of food and quick serivce. There is also a good variety of dessert here.

Literally my favourite place to eat Japanese food. It is so affordable and the food is incredible. I come here for lunch at least a few times a month for the all-you-can-eat deal. The dragon sushi rolls, and pretty much everything is amazing for a very cheap price! Really recommend this place!

Lunchtime Sunday Buffet with the family, one of them had requested sushi. We sandwiched this meal between a movie at the OSC IMAX and a return to the OSC, The venue was spacious, clean, and well lit. They have an ordering system where you click on pictures (very clear and well presented) on a large tablet. You pass the tablet around the table, and eventually you click on "contact server" which gives you a choice to ask for server or submit order, or ask for the bill. You submit the order and then food starts coming. Novel among buffet places, it keeps track of what from your order is still to come. That way you can pace yourself and not over-order. What is marked as spicy has wasabi, what isn't marked as spicy does not. I liked the beef teryaki, and the rolls. The eel tasted pretty good. Kids liked miso soup, green tea ice cream, and tempura shrimp/yam. Breaded shrimp was a hit with the little ones. If one of your group is having a birthday, bring ID - their meal will be 50% off. Wait staff is pleasant.

As a gosto muito de comida oriental, achei bem bacana or restaurant itamae sushi, pea variety of oriental food. servem rodizio de comida. muito bem prepared. muito aconchegante. preço modesto.

Eating is consistently good here and the service is also. rarely I get a dish that is bombing, but this is only expected with different quality of the ingredients and various cooking skills. at night they must run out of regular white rice and. with sweet sushi rice in her fried rice dishes and it was not pleasant. no real trouble, except the music. They run the same minute loop of songs on repetition and it drives me crazy.
