Bidrage med feedbackI have been eating at this place from last 8years. It was Best place for butter chicken roti. But for some reason taste is not same and Chicken was raw and after I told the guy lol he said everybody eating no problem. 0 stars for cleaning. Please don’t waste your time if you want some quality butter chicken . And the guy behind the desk should learn how to take constructive criticism.
Horrible experience. I ordered papdi chaat, filtered coffee and chicken Kathi tikka roll. The person taking the order was very rude as well.Filter coffee: Extremely sweet. Tasted like some packaged Nescafé coffee with excess sugar.Chicken Kathi Tikka roll: Not Kathi style at all. Artificial tomato flavour. No tikka taste.Papdi chaat: No sev was put. We even requested for it twice but no sev was put. The person who took the order said “We don’t have it, I have already put Bhel inside”.Note: the owner replied to my review in an indecent way and is questioning my knowledge of the papdi chaat dish. I suppose he must type “papdi chaat” on google and take a look at how the dish is SUPPOSED TO BE.
I’ve been on vacation in Toronto for about four days now, and I have to say that this was by far the BEST food I’ve had since arriving. The service was quick, the butter chicken roti was amazing and the music definitely adds a nice feel while dining. When I come back, I will definitely stop here again.
2nd visit: Came with a colleague. I had the butter chicken roti. Served in an aluminum tray. My colleague had the paneer tikka dosa (this came with coconut chutney and sambar, and extra is $1 and $2 respectively). All dosas are vegetarian here, I wish they had some meat ones. We both tried each others. He said my butter chicken roti tasted very authentic, I liked the paneer butter dosa too. The butter chicken roti orange sauce is a well balanced flavour not too overwhelming, I can taste all the complexities. Comparing to the Hyderabadi butter chicken (red sauce) which was overwhelmingly musky (which I also like) but tasted too much of musk and tomatos and not other flavours. Good contrast, depends on my mood. The paneer butter dosa is great because the paneer is crushed and spread out evenly across the entire dosa (like a quesadilla), so not just chunks in the middle. Great! I also like the art on the wall, A/C, adequate seating, and music in this place. Fun times.1st visit: Came for lamb biryani (I love goat biryani at the place near D's house) so I wanted to come try some lamb biryani. Spiceness: I got mild, and it tasted delicious. I can try to get spicier next time (medium, then maybe hot). The lamb biryani is more tender, juicier, less gamey. I like both, for their own unique flavours. This lamb biryani is fresh, complex in flavour, delicous spices and textures. Amazing. It came with raita (cucumber yogurt), which was also great. It added further complexity to the flavour variety. I drizzled it on top of the biryani for the cucumber yogurt cooling effect on the spices. Will be coming back.Future: Try mango chicken curry roti, and various other Indian dishes (I want to try some musky flavours).
Worst biryani ever. Got sick afterwards. It wasn’t fresh and chicken was also not fully cooked.
