Bidrage med feedbackI don't understand how a French patisserie can sell burnt croissants. Hopefully it was just one bad batch, but still, it was burnt and should not have been sold.
Frozen croissants does not rise much even following instructions. Have buying your frozen croissants for 2 years. Pls. advise.
If you want to know what a good croissants and pain au chocolat is, go there !He even offers some frozen options to cook at home ! Great for the lazy mornings
Amazing almond croissant and apple chausson but inconvenient locationI should be thankful that they only sell their products on Saturday mornings at the Brickworks farmers’ market. Otherwise, I would be buying them all the time! Bad for my keto diet.It took me several attempts before I found the HV stall. The phone numbers on Google and the HV website are either out of date or not being answered. After a week of eating wonderful French baked goods in Lyon, France, I returned to Toronto with croissant withdrawal. Thank goodness I was aware of Hadrien Verrier. The almond filling in their croissant is the best I’ve ever had. Usually, I eat something from a restaurant/bakery and say, “It’s good but I can probably make it at home.” In the case of HV’s almond croissant, there is NO WAY that I can make it at home!I bought 4 almond croissants, 2 apple chaussons, 2 plain croissants, 1 raisin danish and a bag of frozen croissants. Hopefully I can wait until next Saturday.
My favorite almond Croissant. Happy they are partnered with ethica, bringing them over to the sterling neighborhood.
