Globe Bistro - Toronto

My sister, daughter and I enjoyed a lovely, relaxing dinner at this beautiful bistro this evening. Two of us enjoyed the 4-course tasting menu with wine pairings and it was absolutely amazing. Presentation spectacular, pace was perfect, food temperature and freshness perfect and wine was spot on! We have never experienced this type of 'surprise' menu before and would go back in a heartbeat.The servers were efficient, friendly and provided detailed explanations of everything we were served. My daughter had a lovely pasta dish - somewhat unusual flavours for a 16-year old, but she ate most of it. The chocolate mousse and sticky toffee pudding were out of this world.Great relaxing ambience for a special occasion or special date. Will be back for sure. Thanks for a wonderful dining experience!

Globe Bistro is an amazing restaurant offering a more informal wine bar experience at the front of the restaurant with a more formal setting at the back of the restaurant. Both the wine bar and restaurant section offer their own menus. We have eaten here several times and are always impressed with the food that is changed seasonally as they source ingredients locally. On our last visit this week we ate in the wine bar. My husband had the Canadian Finest dish which was a surf & turf - delicious!I had the burger and i must say it was the best burger I have had in the city. Next on our list - to try them out for brunch and roof top patio in the summer

Bitro, resto, and charming little roof terrace. the tasting meal, at the choice of the chef, was exquisite. a high quality plate presentation. mix of flavors and textures made with brio. very attentive staff who speaks French a bit. romantic atmosphere. to revisit!

Always nice to return to consistant food and service….we love Globe. Either tasting or ala carte. Dropping in on a random Tuesday and get served by an amazing sever (Stacy going to miss you!) the staring PEI mussels where delightful. The trout was stunning and the Braised oxtail sweet pea - carrot Purée was amazing!had room for a desert of canadian cheeses! lovely finish....Not sure when we will be back but encourage everyone to visit this delightful dining spot!

Been here at least a dozen times now and have had amazing culinary experiences on every one of them. Love the brunch menu on weekends too! We are also very impressed with the focus on locally-produced menu items. Well Done, Globe!
