Fonda Lola - Toronto

We came to lunch and sat in the back terrace. the atmosphere was really nice. the food and the drinks were great. the only reason I didn't give five stars is because the service was a little strange. the inside of the restaurant was empty. there were only a few people in the back terrace. there were several servers/employees while we were there. but we had not only one person who helped us, but instead we had someone who sits on us, then someone who ordered our drink, and then another person brings us our drinks. After we sit for 15 minutes and no one took our food order, we had to ask someone who goes by if we could order. When our food arrived, they saw that our drinks were empty and nobody asked if we wanted something else. also the food and drink we had were great, but it was a shame because we actually ordered more if someone really felt that they wanted our business. with so many people who work there, and so few customers, it just felt strange that nobody seemed to serve us.

On Thursday evening, in which we were packed on the cramp, this was a little squeezing to get to the table and it can be quite loud, so expect to speak about their usual band. the ambiente is alive, with little lighting that adds the mood, but the menu is a little hard to read. put all this down. they will definitely enjoy their meal. had the lola special recommended by the waiter enchiladas de molecular tender, richly decorated chicken inside and oaxacan chocolate sauce drizzled on the outside.

Absolutely loved the restaurant, service and eat! and the cocktails, young! have the hibiscus margarita, juicio, Mexican koks, nachos, enchiladas de mol, baha fish burrito and mushroom tacos and everything was so delicious. the staff was very friendly and friendly and I did not feel with our meal, as I would recommend in other restaurants, in a Friday night! I wish I have made more photos of food :s cheers

My friend and I decided Fonda Lola would be the perfect venue for her Birthday. Having a lovely experience many times in the past I had high hopes. The staff lived up to every expectation. Incredible hospitality and a very personable Britney, Sabrina and the bar tender Dae did everything needed to make this special night as perfect as possible. I I’ll return %100

Margaritas were strong and the dishes were deliciously amazing with a good choice in the menu. Took a star off for the rude/attitudy waiteress.
