Elephant Castle Toronto Yonge St.

I went to this restaurant for lunch on a weekday and it was absolutely fantastic. The service from the wait staff was exceptional, and the food was delicious. The atmosphere was peaceful since it was midday on a weekday, although I imagine it could get loud during busier times. The restaurant is housed in a beautiful building. The only downside was that the restroom was a bit tricky to find, but they do have accessible facilities for those who require them. Overall, a great experience and I will definitely return when I'm in town again.

The food was average. The waitress was extremely inattentive, as we had to flag her down just to order drinks instead of her asking if we wanted anything. She spent more time chatting with other servers and bartenders than attending to our table. We had to search for her to request our bill, and she left before everyone at the table had paid.

Ordered the fish and chips-came dripping oil to the table-and continued to do so the next 10min. I cut off drenched portion. Everyone else also thought their meal was also 'ok '

Nice place, casual ambiance, comfort food. Great for friends get together events
