Bidrage med feedbackLocated on Baldwin Street, this charming restaurant has a vibrant atmosphere. My friends and I visited for Sunday brunch and enjoyed delicious crepes. The music playing in the background added to the cozy ambiance without overpowering our conversation. The service was friendly and attentive. Both the sweet and savory crepes we tried were delightful, particularly the mushroom crepe and the egg bacon cheese crepe. I would definitely recommend this place.
I also recommend trying their savory crepes, such as the smoked salmon one. You can customize any crepe to your liking, catering to all taste preferences. The ambiance is decent, although there isn't much to look at inside the restaurant. Despite this, it would still be a good spot for a date night.
Went there for an anniversary dinner with my gf based on urban spoon ratings. It's at the corner of Baldwin, so it's not very noticable at first glance, as people tend to go for the ramen and other cuisine there. As expected, this place is definitely a hidden gem, the food was amazingly tasty and the service was great. <br/ <br/ We ordered a borche soup, pork tenderloin entree, hashbrowns entree and a dessert crepe. They were all delicious and well balanced in flavor. However, I do have to say it's around $2-3 more expensive than other similar places. <br/ <br/ Really hope they will become more popular in the future. <br/ <br/ Ps: the washroom is showing its age but it was spotless clean.
Cute place. Can't wait to come back!. Service was a bit slow but reasonable.... and moreover, the food in the end was totally worth the wait. Had the creamy mushroom with spinach crepe, which was hearty without being too heavy and had a good filling to crepe ratio. The crepe itself was also soft yet firm. My friend ordered the salmon crepe, which was yeah sure, very garlicky but nonetheless delicious. For dessert we got the apricot cake. I never had apricot cake before but it might just become one of my favourite types of cake! The layers were light and spongey with not only cream but also tiny pieces of apricot in between. As I mentioned, service could be better... like, it would've been nice to have had water at our table during our meal, or even afterwards... but since there was only one server who was managing all the tables (I think he was preparing some of the food as well? it was kind hard to wave him down at times. The dishes for our table still came together and within a decent amount of time, so no major complaints.Gotta say, the decor was unusual... Thought it was a sushi restaurant when I first walked in. I'm guessing the wooden posts belonged to the previous restaurant or something? The computer desk playing radio music at the back took me for surprise but it was actually kind of amusing. Overall, the place isn't very fancy but it's got this unassuming charm that's quite endearing.I'll be trying some of the other things on the menu next time... hopefully with some water!
