Bidrage med feedbackThe turnkey atmosphere makes this a beautiful place to go and turn around with your table mats. The food is well prepared, but surprisingly low in spices. The dishes were presented attractively with little fanfare.
The Enchiladas and Fajitas we ordered were hot and tasty, although not exceptional. We have had better Mexican food in Mexico and California, so our standards may be a bit high. The waitress seemed overwhelmed with her duties, at times only wearing one shoe and forgetting orders. Our neighbors also experienced a long wait for their order of Churros, which was frustrating as they had young children with them. The kitchen seemed to be moving slowly, taking 45 minutes to prepare Fajitas despite the restaurant not being very busy. The restaurant itself was nice and cozy, but we were disappointed to find that the bathrooms were lacking in essentials like paper towels and toilet paper. Overall, our experience was not great and we do not plan on returning to this restaurant.
I went to this restaurant for lunch with friends for the first time. The atmosphere of the smaller neighborhood made us feel right at home, and the knowledgeable employees made our experience even better. We had no trouble finding seating on a weekday afternoon, and our food was prepared quickly. Despite many places claiming to have the best dishes, the ones we tried here were truly fantastic, especially with the delicious chips on the side. We stuck to classic options like Burritos and Enchiladas, which were flavorful and authentic without feeling heavy. The portion sizes were satisfying, and the prices were reasonable. Although the restaurant is a bit off the beaten path, I would definitely return to try some of the more adventurous menu items.
Chillies sauces were homemade and fabulous. Our waiter Marco was very polite. He apologized when he brought me the wrong food order, and within a few minutes he brought her vegetarian meal, which was hot and tasty. I had the carne steak with Mexican food supplements. Her tortilla bowls were warm and tasty as I steak and vegetables, along with some portions of my wife vegetable food plate. This was the last minute decision to come to this restaurant based on their generally good on line reviews We said that we would return to Chachos in not too distant future. Finally, it was a quiet night when we cried to be the only diners there, mostly. A great way to spend my birthday night.
The food and service was excellent all at very reasonable price. You get an authentic Mexican meal served in a family environment all for what you'd pay for at Swiss Chalet.
