Boxcar Social Harbourfront - Toronto

This restaurant offers a spacious and scenic setting for a casual bite to eat. The beer selection is top-notch, although the dining experience may not be exceptional. It is a solid choice among the other waterfront dining options in the area.

The food at this restaurant was very tasty and the service was excellent. However, during my visit, there was only one functioning bathroom for the entire establishment. I tried to use it multiple times, but there were always three people waiting ahead of me. Despite being connected to the harbourfront centre, this was not an ideal situation for a busy Saturday night.

A very laid-back and tranquil restaurant located by the water, offering something for everyone, whether you're in the mood for coffee or drinks. The staff is exceptional and truly enhances the overall experience. They go above and beyond to fulfill any requests, and are very knowledgeable about the drink menu. I chose Boxcar for my birthday celebration and all of my guests were impressed by the lovely atmosphere. It's a hidden gem along Harbourfront and one of my favorite spots. I want to give a special shout out to Sydney and Robin for their excellent customer service.

My summer salad was absolutely disgusting. Please don’t serve old spinach and two strawberries and call that a salad and have the audacity to charge nearly $15.

Minimal menu, just good to have a beer before heading out for dinner somewhere else. No brunch menu on weekend, lots of families with little kids (in case you are looking for something romantic). Good views of the lake
