Bistro On King - Toronto

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this restaurant. I highly recommend the butter chicken!

This bar and grill offers delicious food and a friendly atmosphere! The service was outstanding, and our server was incredible—she truly knows how to take care of her guests! We’ll definitely be returning!

Came here at 10pm for a late night drink and snack. We weren’t seated and were told to sit “wherever” after standing around for 5 minutes or so.We ordered a starter and a pizza after waiting another 10 minutes for someone to come take our order. We weren’t told of any issues or delays, and were told the food “wouldn’t take long”.After waiting over 50 minutes, I was able to finally flag down a staff member who told me “sorry there is only one chef for the whole hotel, there’s nothing I can do”.Could you have said this when we sat down? When we ordered? After we waited 30/40 or 50 minutes?After 1 hour, 10 minutes, the food finally came, and was bland, salty and poorly seasoned. We asked for some more water after an hour waiting, and were told “wait.. 2 minutes”. 20 minutes later we finally got some water to go with our salty food.Overall a terrible experience, poor communication and average food. Won’t be coming back again.It could have been worse, the person behind me waited over an hour for a scoop of ice cream!

Food is ok and the menu selection is limited. It's a convenient spot if you are staying at the hotel but I'd rather go elsewhere. There are so many better spots to check out when downtown.

Visited here a few times whilst staying at One Kings West hotel which this is part of. Between us we had Pizza, and the grilled chicken Tower. The food was good, the service attentive without being overbearing, and a good choice of drinks. If you are staying in the hotel dont fancy going out a good choice
