Bairraida Churrasqueira Grill - Toronto

I ordered the small portion of the Chicken Breast, which was marinated and grilled to perfection. It came with a side salad and rice. Despite being the small size, it came with two generous chicken breasts and a large serving of rice. My dining companion chose the Salmon, which was served with boiled potatoes and steamed vegetables. The salmon had a nice char on both sides and was cooked evenly throughout. It was well-seasoned and came in a generous portion. While I wasn't a fan of simple boiled potatoes, the veggies were quite tasty. To end our meal, we enjoyed Natas (Portuguese custard tarts). These tarts were baked in-house and were fresh, warm, with a creamy filling and a nice crust on top. The service at Bairrada Churrasqueira was polite and friendly.

The chicken is excellent at this restaurant. We order takeout here a few times every month and it always hits the spot.

Bairrada is the perfect spot for those seeking a relaxed and casual Portuguese dining experience. While the service may be a bit slow and inattentive, the delicious food and charming backyard patio more than make up for it. You'll be pleased with the generous portion sizes and pleasantly surprised by the affordable bill at the end of your meal.

We sat in the terrace during an August heat wave. inside was empty, but the terrace was alive. great service, the half of the specials were not available, but recommended were great. fresh cheese appetizer, grilled cold and grilled calamari were wonderful. white sangria was excellent....Not the fantastic, but felt like a beautiful Portuguese family restaurant.

Beautiful terrace, but underoccupied. shrimp had too much salt and garlic. ripening were fat. reis was cold. sangria was just okay.
