Alexandro's Take-out - Toronto

This is my go-to spot for gyros on the Danforth. I never understood the hype about Messini's... This place is far superior. It's a great option for a late night meal.

I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since it first opened. The food here is outstanding. Don't forget to try the Greek fries, which are topped with feta cheese and are delicious. This is the perfect spot to visit after a night out at the club. I highly recommend it to anyone who is hungry and craving a satisfying meal after a night of partying. Forget about street food, try Alexandros instead!

Alexandros the Great is a restaurant with staff who may not be the friendliest, but their pork Suvlaki is the most delicious I have ever tasted. Even though I used to live in Canada, every time I go back I make sure to have at least 2 of those a night. Just a note, I am not Greek so I am not biased in my opinion. - Tarek

Having been to Athens, I was looking forward to hitting a Greek restaurant in Toronto's Greek Town section. This place was pretty good. The gyro was nice. My daughter and I ordered separate meals, but the attendant steered us toward a "dinner for two" special that actually was a couple dollars cheaper. It's kind of fast-foodish, but good stuff.

Ordered Greek fries, greek salad and chicken souvlaki for lunch.The greek fries were nice sprinkled with feta.The greek salad was below average and bland. There was no dressing. The tsatziki was average - they don't make it themselves. Alexandro's buys the sauce in bulk.Was disappointed.
