Arisu Korean & Japanese Restaurant

This restaurant has fancy decor offering very comfortable ambience in comparison to most eateries along this street. The good was well presented and nicely flavoured although nothing spectacular. The potato noodle and the seafood pancake were very good. Service was on par.

Service was terrible. The one server on the patio on a hot day was not appropriate. The person was very forgetful under the circumstances. Server brought dishes for one person, when clearly there were two present! The food was disappointing. Soft-shell crab was so overdone it could have been anything. We wanted to try Korea-town and were not impressed.

The place is cozy enough. Yet has lots of room for larger parties. The food is good. Korean BBQ right at your table. The portions could be bigger however it's ok. Very friendly and prompt service. This was my first time here. If given a chance I would definitely come back.

Visited this restaurant today and had very poor service. We waited 1 hour for edamame to come to our table. We chose to grill several meats. The uncooked meet took over 90 minutes to come to our table. This is unacceptable given the meat wasn't even cooked. We were going to cook it at the table. When asked about our service we were rudely ignored. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else !

The marinated beef was voted the best.Forth main was off the menu: Tofu Steak. Large dish served with four very large "tofu" steaks accompanied by vegetables all in a sauce. It comes on a hot plate. Very tasty and filling.Desserts:Three orders of Rice Cake Balls. These were enjoyed by all.Arisu is a "go to place" food is usually good and during Winter/Summerlicious you get good value for the money.We have been before and will probably return.
