Bidrage med feedbackMy husband took in this ice cream shop a lemon granita (4.5 the flavor was very artificial and was not pleasant. considered also the cost expected something more.
Since 1936 this family (cecchi) makes gelato in the center of turin. the shop is easy to find and the gelato fantastic! her gianduja eis is one of the best we had! for the whole family we paid 12 euro for 3 2 2 2. koops! strong recommendation when they are in turin!
Gelati cecchi claims to be sorrowful and they prove it. I had the pleasure to nourish the gianduja with crema di nonno' at one of their sites near piazza san carlo and must admit that it is the second to none (and I have experienced gelati artigianali by roma, milano, noto and vieste.) you can have the smoothness of the nocciolo piemontese well with chocolate. ask the server, he/she makes them taste and beat the best combinations of aromen. on their next walk through the torino portico, they sit in the shadow near the piazza san carlo and enjoy an artistically composed gelato. they will probably plan a trip again to experience the taste again.
Yeah, that was an expensive hot chocolate today. 5 euro were incredibly expensive. well tasted, but I almost delivered when I gave the bill for 2 drinks. beautiful place and a good product, but look for better value options.
To all fans authentic and psychic experience: run, don't go! gelati cecchi is a light fire of the delicacies served by dedicated and friendly staff. ideal location directly in the city, cozy inside and outside. you gelato is different and we loved it, the story behind. four generations of love and know-how of a family have produced the perfect product. our visit here (also in the bakery) stay some of our most beautiful memories of torino. we will be back again and again!
