Wellies - Torbay

I had made a reservation well in advance for Mother's Day, but unfortunately it was cancelled last minute with no explanation.

The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance, with attentive service that is not overly intrusive, and the food is delicious.

We have been regular patrons of this restaurant for many years and recently brought along some friends, one of whom is a vegetarian. Unfortunately, the vegetarian options on the menu were limited, with only a vegetarian burger available. Regrettably, the quality of the burger was lacking, as the portions were small and there were only four dessert options to choose from, none of which were chocolate.

Excellent steak night on Wednesday good service and good steaks. Great value we will go back for sure

The following items were forgotten: Cutlery and plates for desserts Side dish that accompanied the main course A drink that we ordered (wasn’t forgotten on the bill) Also cheese on cheese board still had plastic wrapping on. Music, although not loud, was more fitting for a night club rather than a Sunday afternoon bistro! It’s a shame as the meals are good quality and reasonably priced.
