Lovely little public house, full of character inside with the cobble stone floor and beamed ceiling. friendly atmosphere and they serve good food to wash down with a real ale.

So we heard about the place through Google review, l have to say full of charactor. Food was tasty, reasonable despite arriving after the kitchen closed for lunch trade, chef was still busy an said no problem it did not dissapoint. The atmosphere and character of the oub and its customers speak for itself. Would visit again without doubt.

This charming pub is full of character and has a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The service is friendly and the surroundings are comfortable.

Nice meal of fish and chips £15) with a pint of Jail Ale £5). Even at mid day on a week day there was an awesome atmosphere.

We went early evening on a wet Monday. We were after good, traditional pub food and it exceeded our expectations, the fish chips were delicious, crispy batter and the steak ale pie was the best my husband had ever had (and he thought he'd had good before! 100% recommend, service was quick and everyone was very friendly. If only we lived closer.
