Bidrage med feedbackWe dined at the restaurant during a busy Sunday carvery. Despite not having a reservation, they quickly found us a table and allowed us two hours to enjoy our meal before the next reservation. The majority of the waitstaff were young but still provided excellent service, being attentive, professional, and friendly. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of vegetables to choose from, as well as four different types of roast meats. It seems they also offer a carvery on other days of the week, although the selection may not be as extensive. The owner and management team, including the head chef, were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially as I had my 91-year-old mother in a wheelchair with me. I would love to visit every Sunday, but my waistline and budget would not be happy about it. Overall, a delightful experience.
The staff are great helpful, kind and friendly. The food is excellent, lots of choice and lots of it. The place is clean and worth going back.
I had an amazing lunch with great quality food, reasonable prices, and generous portions. I was so full that I struggled to finish my meal. The staff provided excellent service, and even our Maltipoo enjoyed the gammon. Thank you!
Do not eat here all food was cold , only way the meat could be carved thinner was with a Gillette razor , hottest part of my meal was my coffee and gravy , stuffing balls were like golf balls couldn't even slice them with a steak knife absolutely shocking when you pay £11.50 , the worst part was the chef standing at the carvery decks eating slices of meat in front of the guests which is against food hygiene regulations and showed no attempt to wash his hands before or after this ,after working as a chef for 9 years myself I have never been so shocked at what I witnessed,I would be sacked if I done this at work , you cannot risk other people's health like this and if they are doing this in front of customers without a care in the world I would hate to see what goes on out the back in the main kitchen when no one's around I hope the management see this I really do they need to recruit chefs with much better hygiene I will not be returning here again it has completely put me off I would rather spend my money in Toby carvery in future!! Don't waste your money or risk your health especially if you are vulnerable, bar staff are polite and well presented in the way they work couldn't fault them just a shame the chefs can't meet the same standards
