Railway Cafe - Torbay

This cafe is perfectly located at the top of the funicular (although it was closed during our visit), allowing you to first explore the beach and then enjoy a stunning view from the top while indulging in delicious food, ranging from fry ups to tea cakes and scones. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the prices are reasonable. There are plenty of compelling reasons to visit this cafe, so don't miss out on the opportunity.

The owners were having a heated argument this morning, so I couldn't get my coffee before catching my train. It seemed like they hadn't cleared any tables all morning. I'll make sure to get my coffee on the train next time.

Dirty tables and floor the big bloke just sat there doing nothing the breakfast was cold and very cheap ingredients better of going town centre for resent breakfast

Loved our experience the staff were very friendly. We visited twice in 1 day the staff remembered us. Food drinks were great. Be very happy to return to this very warm friendly place. Thank you

Used this station 18th February 2019..we had quite a while to wait for our train.so we stopped for a coffee, bought our newspapers and waited in a nice warm room.
