Isaac Merritt - Torbay

I absolutely adore this restaurant, it's even better than Wetherspoons. They allow dogs, have cheap beer, and offer delicious food. I love how I can exchange books here and they even donated some books for me to swap. Such kindness.

This was our first visit since it stopped being a chain restaurant. The selection of local ales and apple wines was excellent and reasonably priced. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. We only came for drinks, but the atmosphere felt more sophisticated and catered to adults, which was a definite improvement over the previous chain restaurant.

Much better than a Wetherspoons, this pub has great service, affordable drinks, and fabulous tapas. I highly recommend staying away from this place for many years. The clean environment is something you don't often see in many pubs. Thank you, Isaac Merrit.

The personal is very pleasant. I had a couple. the beer was good. the best thing was that I could bring my dog in.

A great full-English breakfast, washed down with beer! ! Can't be bad!!!!! Service was maybe a little slow , but staff were pleasant and courteous .
