Blagdon Inn - Torbay

Delicious food, mid range price wise. Staff went above and beyond, made us feel very welcome very dog friendly so definitely worth a visit if you are staying on or close to Devon Hills Holiday Park.

Such a hidden gem of a place, we are local to the area and would highly recommend. Came on a Sunday and enjoyed such a delightful roast dinner, staff are all friendly. Great atmosphere. Manager was lovely. It was my daughters birthday and we told them and they made it so special for her. We don’t eat out very often so when we do it’s nice to feel looked after and eat proper decent food. Will return soon and recommend to friends and family

Great Sunday lunch here you couldn’t fault it , super food good value for money but the best thing was the presentation of hot tasty meat and vegetables After trying several local restaurants this was by far the best Well done Di the manager and Jake behind the bar We will certainly be going again

It's disappointing that a restaurant with so much promise turned out to be unwelcoming. Upon entering, we immediately felt the cold atmosphere, with even the bartender wearing a coat. The fireplace was not even lit, there was no background music, and the overall vibe was reminiscent of a community center. The selection of beer and wine was lacking, giving the impression that the restaurant may be closing down. There was no evidence of food being prepared, so we cannot comment on that aspect.

The Blagdon is a fantastic choice for parties and Sunday roasts. I booked the function room for my celebration and found the space to be great. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The following day, I returned for their carvery and was pleased with the delicious food and excellent service. I highly recommend visiting The Blagdon.
