Fairground Cafe - Topsham

The restaurant doesn't feel very family-oriented. During my visit this morning, I observed a waiter calling out to another one.

However, I should have stopped there, but I ordered a cream pie for dessert. The cake was excessively dry, and the frosting looked like it had been smeared on with a finger—there was way too much of it. The waitress seemed shocked when I told her it wasn't good, and she even offered me a box to take it home. By that point, I just asked for the check. I probably won't return unless I hear they've changed management or made significant updates. I work hard for my money, and when I go out to eat, I expect a delicious, fresh meal. I'm sorry, Fairground Café, but that’s three strikes, and you're out.

Always the home-cooked atmosphere and enjoyed the meal

Every time I go here the staff are always wicked friendly, the prices are great, the food is good, and the food comes out so quickly that I just ate here and I was done eating 20 minutes after I walked in the door.

Excellent food and service! Love there omletes, biscuits and gravy. Highly recommend
