99 Restaurants - Topsham

Overall I 'd say meh . The 9s is never going to be a fine dining experience, but the strip steak and lobster casserole looked better on the menu than it did on my plate. The lobster casserole was a little short on the lobster (which had been frozen- a real disappointment here in Maine) and the steak was tough and full of gristle. There are meals that are quite good, but this wasn 't one of them.

The service was commendable, especially given how busy the restaurant was; we only had to wait about five minutes to be seated. However, there was quite a delay before our drinks arrived, and we also waited a while for silverware. Our salads were decent but had some brown leaves and were drenched in dressing—though I enjoy a lot of dressing, I still didn't use all of it. My dinner arrived before I finished my salad, and I noticed that my husband's steak was overcooked and charred on the outside, plus his baked potato was quite small. As for my seafood, it was rubbery and a bit burnt as well. We've dined here before and had a great experience, but this time was disappointing. The quality and portion sizes of our meals seemed to have declined. This visit took place in Topsham, Maine, on November 26, 2023.

Excellent service great fish and chips. Took half of it home for supper. Drinks refilled constantly. Never had to wait for a fillup.

Friendly, easy to mobile order, except they didn’t put any utensils in the bag or ask if we need any. My bad, my balsamic chicken and mashed potatoes still tasted good.
