Hot Basil Thai Cottage Restaurant

We enjoyed delicious chicken skewers and then had coconut rice and green curry at this restaurant near our motel. The meal was affordable, although it wasn't the best Thai food I've ever had. The server insisted we order a large portion of rice when we only wanted a small one, which ended up being too much. Overall, it was a decent option for travelers looking for a good meal.

Definitely not Thai food, the tom yum tasted like dilute tomato sauce with extremely dry chicken meat and the basil beef was very hard and tasteless. It's really not worth the price.

My husband and I went to this restaurant with friends who had dined there before. We ordered two beef panang dishes and found the food to be tasty and good. However, when they brought out a pork dish instead of the second beef dish we had ordered, they insisted that we had ordered pork. Despite my preference not to eat pork, I reluctantly accepted the dish since I was hungry. Unfortunately, the staff was not willing to acknowledge their mistake or rectify the situation.

Enjoy that the doors open early and allow a meal on the way home. The staff was attentive, but not overlaid. Meal smelted and tasted super, with a beautiful spicy bite that was not overwhelming.

The meals are served promptly and are consistently delicious, offering good value for the price. Conveniently located near a cinema and live theatre complex, this restaurant is ideal for grabbing a quick bite before a show.
