Hot Basil Thai Cottage Restaurant

Enjoy that the doors open early allowing for a meal on the way home. Staff were attentive, but not overbearing. Meal smelt and tasted great, with a nice spicy bite to it that wasn't overwhelming.

Meal was excellent, all my favourite Thai dishes including Green Curry Chicken, Seafood Pad Thai, Maasaman Beef Curry, BBQ prawns etc.

Fast service, fresh and authentic Thai. Service was good and everything was clean and orderly. So cheap too! Cost $50 for entrees, three mains and drinks - we will definitely be back.

I am a regular diner here and have never had to wait more than 15-20 minutes for the food to arrive. Ever. The food is always delicious and the staff are friendly and welcoming. My favourite dishes are the Chilli Prawns and the Sweet and Sour Fish. I have tried the other Thai restaurants in town and for some reason end up with a "funny tummy". I believe the décor is being renovated in a few months time.. Not that there is anything wrong with it at the moment.

I know, I know! You always get told that the food will be approximately 15-20mins wait. Shame on me when I waited 50mins for 3 dishes & rice. The food was nice but I don't believe the wait was worth it.
