Autour du Pressoir - Tonnerre

I told my friend I wouldn't eat there until she said there were new owners. what a positive change! what a pleasure to be welcomed by a friendly smile! what a good feeling the same (fantastic delicious) menu are offered. like the others. you guessed. before or years a friend and I received a selection of only main dishes from an acidic owner, while the grooms after us (apparently regular) on the table next to us sat a footbox menu/card (on a chair) to choose from! how unprofessional was that!? I hate to cook, I live a stone's throw away. this restaurant would have been ideal for me, but effortless to say neither my friend nor I ever went back. fast to today: full house, friendly reception, smiling server, mouthwatering teller names displayed for all. we had beautiful slices of foie gras accompanied by what seemed like homemade pains d’epices and feigen preservation, beautiful fat chicks with petersilien garlic butter (which was apparently the young cook had gone slightly on the garlic), pork with fresh mushrooms in wine velvety and velvety pure carrots for my friend and srumptious thorny the new owner introduced himself and talked to us. very pleasant. what a difference on the day. no, years and make a new owner! A beautiful location and a fabulous menu. Unfortunately, we don't have the opportunity to taste the food, although other guests said it was delicious. we came to lunch in the environment when the restaurant was full, but frustrating was not said it would be at least minutes before we are served. we have actually decided to go if we have not yet been addressed with a menu or a suggestion of drinks. the last stroh was when another couple that came after us received menus and then said that a series of objects were no longer available. all employees seemed very nice, but communication, energy and honesty is essential. we would have gone to the beginning fortunately if we were to say that the session was full. we were one of the groups that went without service and other guests who were served also complained about the waiting time to eat. very sad, as we really look forward to the delicious looking eating and the outside sitting area is very nice. even a few glasses wein would have kept us happy!

Beautiful personal, beautiful environment under a tree. the food was traditional and very tasty, the prices great. we're back!

Now, my man and I visited the mere of our friend in tonnerre and she brought us into her restaurant, autuour du pressoir. it was too late. she ordered us and we enjoyed a delicious lunch. I had a lentil salad over a bed of greens that was incredibly good to be only lenses on greens. the dressing made it. we cannot remember the court he had, but it was the special of the day. his teller was at the end clean! there is a business in the front where they can buy French articles and the prices are reasonable and people reasonable. they go there when they find themselves in this charming city. we enjoyed it very much.

My first experience of escargots. Really lovely dish which came with a beautiful side salad and potato salad. Nice sunny spot for lunch.
