Melad Tandoori Indian Takeaway

Very Poor Service. We have just moved to the area and ordered for the 1st time. I understand a takeaway on a saturday evening is going to take its time. We were told delivery time would be 1 hour. 2hrs 15mins later no takaway had arrived and no one answering the phones!! In the meantime we ordered elsewhere and were tucking into a delicious chinese delivery when our food finally arrived after nearly 3 hours! Shame as this could have been our go to curry restaurant!.

My experience with this restaurant was extremely disappointing. I placed a takeaway order on a Saturday night with a promised delivery time of 1 hour and 5 minutes. However, after waiting for 3 hours, the order still had not arrived. I called multiple times to inquire about the delay and was repeatedly told that it was on its way. After making four calls over a period of 1 hour and 30 minutes, they started hanging up on me. While they did apologize and offer a refund, their poor service ruined our plans for the evening. I believe I am entitled to compensation in the form of free food for the inconvenience caused. Overall, the customer service was abysmal and disgraceful.

Terrible service. I never received my food and was unable to speak to anyone about it. I doubt I will get a refund. Complete disaster. Avoid at all costs!!!!!

I ordered takeout from a highly-rated restaurant and it was the worst meal I've ever had! Everything was overcooked, the tikka and bhaji were dark brown and extremely dry. The naan bread was small and the relish tray had some sauces with a strange taste. I won't be returning as there are many better Indian restaurants in Maidstone. Overall, it was an awful experience.

A meal with friends first time was ok when newly opened in Barming and then returned with family in June which wasn’t so great. Friendly enough but, food was not as explained on the menu. We didn’t complain as they were really busy…with deliveries apparently. So we still tried again as we are local and ordered a home delivery twice, which was delivered in good time on each order, but the amount of food in each carton was very little for what they charged. Some cartons were not even quarter full and there was very little meat in the meat dishes. So, unfortunately they have lost our custom both eat in and take away. Shame though, we were looking forward to having a nice local restaurant to visit.
