Poppy's Place - Toms River

Local mother and pop place serves good value breakfast and lunch, but not dinner. Friendly service in retro atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed by servers, and owners Tina aka Mrs. Poppy stopped at our table, who first welcomed us customers. Only outside the main road from the mail, do not want to miss it.

Friendly fun staff, great lunch. Tuna, provolone, salad, tomatoes, onions, oil, vinegar black pepper. Breakfast on 12.23.21 Friendly staff feel great breakfast and a great hometown. 04.25.22 Sloppy Poppy Sandwich.

Nice relaxing breakfast at the small hole in the wall location in downtown Tom's River. Today's breakfast sandwich was roasted eggs, bacon, ham, pork roll, sausage, hot cherry pepper with cheese. Kit had scrambled eggs, bacon crispy and breakfast potatoes. Fantastic price and delicious!!!

It is the best pork and cheese I've ever had, and the prices are completely reasonable. The atmosphere is 50s cheesy. It's worth a 30-minute drive that says a lot for a diner in New Jersey. I make it a point to stop here every time I drive from Wildwood to New York.

Back in the 50’s type of place service excellent food excellent atmosphere very nice great breakfast and burgers no frozen Pattie’s fresh hamburger meat it’s our new go to place
