Cafe Marrese - Tomball

Today for the first time. it didn't eat today, but the latte was great. the decor is beautiful, I will stop in the near future when I am hungry.

This place has potential, but needs training, leadership and quality control imo. My visit was before 11:00 on Friday and there were 3 tables occupied with seven people in total. I ordered the hearty omelet' and paid to add vegetables. They made it on the receipt, but not in the omelet. One more egg might help it to deserve it's title of hearty. They only cost you 15 cents each at the most and it's already $11.00 for the omlet. The pieces of bacon in the omelet were anywhere from floppy, soft and undercooked, to black and so over cooked that I had to remove it from my mouth. Of the six or seven staff members, which were all in their 20s, I saw no sign of leadership, nor dress code. I think two of them had an apron. Even though it was not busy, most of the staff appeared to be struggling or confused. Some were very relaxed. Owners, step up and make it work! This area is growing rapidly and you have a good start. I hope you can save it before it's too late.

Great location with free parking. Greeted with smiles fast service and great choices. The food was very good with nice portions.

I’ve been here many times, and this is the first time reviewing. I absolutely adore this place! Their food is consistently good, and the coffee drinks I’ve tried are divine! If you dine in be sure to ask for your drink in a mug to reduce waste (please). The ambiance is cozy and makes for a great dine-in experience. The only thing I will say (which doesn’t deserve a full star removal) is that the building’s ventilation isn’t optimal. Translation: when the kitchen is busy, your clothes may smell a bit. Again, this to me is not a dealbreaker because the food and atmosphere are so great, but it IS there, minimally. Side note: I got the Cuban for the first time? Soooo good.

We go here twice a month for a Men's group at church. The food is good along with the coffee. And pretty relaxed environment.
