Het uitzicht is hier fantastisch, de bediening prettig en vriendeljjk en het eten is lekker: goede producten en goed bereid. Voor Portugese begrippen misschien iets duurder maar nog steeds een goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Zeker de moete waard om dit restaurant te bezoeken!

We have been here many times over the last 7 years as have property near by. On arrival a shame not to see the lovely owners who have always greeted us with a friendly smile and warm welcome...menu is the same but product served was not..the javali I always have has always been a treat with rich sauce slow cooked with me mash...this was pan fried...tough and sauce was incipid made quick in a pan. Staff I found defensive when complained and telling me about having ordered wrong thing and was my fault...not best approach...my partner ordered pork which was full of fat and pink sent back ...nearly 20 minutes later. I had finished returned same thing cooked more ...neither of us enjoyed the food and we found staff bit rude to be honest. Lost the personal touch and a shame. The owners have a new project...but tbh think would be better placed where they are missed...just my opinion. Will not rush back .

Having read, and heard first hand many reviews, good and bad, my wife and I decided that we just had to make our own minds up, so we went last night, Saturday 25th September. We were instantly met at the door by a charming lady who welcomed us warmly and showed us to a choice of tables (we had not made a reservation). Later another lady who spoke perfect English explained the menu and combinations of steak available, so the staff were nothing less than very attentive and excellent. The wine list was extensive to say the least but not at all expensive as our excellent bottle of red was only 9€! We chose a mixture of steak to cook on the hot stone they brought to our table and to ensure that we got the best out of our steaks without prompting they replaced the stone with a new, hotter one 1/2 way through our meal. The steaks were fabulous! Overall excellent, attentive and smiley staff, fabulous wine and food, and a great ambiance. A fabulous restaurant.
