Ruby's Kitchen - Toledo

I believe we visited the restaurant on an off day. The food was delicious, but the service was incredibly slow.

I ordered the baked chicken and dressing at Ruby's, but I was disappointed. The chicken skin and dressing were both too salty, and I wasn't a fan of the macaroni or yams. The portions were small for the price, and the desserts were overpriced - $5.99 for a slice of pie and $4.99 for two small pieces of cake. Overall, I was not satisfied with my meal and will not be returning to Ruby's.

This was our first visit to this restaurant and it was absolutely delicious! The salmon patties were packed with salmon and so yummy. The perch and hush puppies were cooked perfectly, and the fried corn was amazing. The Mac and Cheese was the best I have had in years, definitely homemade. The service was quick and the staff was very friendly. It was a great meal before heading to the Stranahan. We will definitely be back!

Tried it for the first time last night. Service was very friendly and in spite of a nonstop set of orders coming in on the phone and through delivery, our food arrived hot and fresh pretty quickly. I had salmon patties with rice and gravy andcornbread; patties were best I 've had in a long time with big chunks of salmon, fresh onion and peppers. Rice and gravy wasfilling but a bit bland. Girlfriend ordered perch with hush puppies, mac and cheese, and fried corn. Perch and hush puppieswere perfect, the fried corn had just the right mix of jalapeno to corn to make it interesting but not spicy, and mac and cheesewas better than we 've had at just about any fast food place--real cheese, not whiz .

So yummy food is good service is great very friendly I recommend this restaurant if you're from out of town and hungry for some home cooked meals .
