Island Soul - Toledo

The lachspatties are the most amazing food I put in my mouth, along with the soße *co kiss.* this restaurant does not miss! the grotten are smokey and creamy and I can eat them every day. the salmon salad is my lunch, the jerk sauce on the draught and tear is a game made in the sky. If they want to support a small, local, owned company, this is the one.

I had the chicken waffles I can't say enough how freakin good these were. Perfectly seasoned/breaded chicken the waffles were crispy THICK. 10/10 recommend! The owner is a delight to work with as well!

I gave Island Soul a 5 star review because it is simply the best food I've tasted since moving back to Toledo. I lived in Chicago for 41yrs where they have some of THE best Restaurants with every cuisine from around world. Honestly, Island Soul took me back to Chicago. If you try Island Soul and don't like it, you don't no good food but I'm sure you're gonna love it.

Such amazing food and you can taste the culture and love in it! The Soul Mac is a must and that Tropical Fried Chicken Sandwich was perfectly seasoned and juicy as can be. Moral of the story is Island Soul smacks and you gotta try it!!!
