Cafe Donuts - Toledo

I am so grateful for all the gourmet vegan donuts near me now, but sometimes I just want to do an old fashion, fat, disintegrate-in-your-mouth and these beat the place! they had five vegans when I went (noon on Sunday), so of course I ordered one of everyone and ate them over 24 hours. everything was good, but the cake and jelly donut were my favorites. fortunately, I live too far to make this a normal event, but I will definitely be the next time I am in toledo.

Good selection on Saturday and Sunday! incredibly delicious old fashion donuts, we had oreo and a apple fritter.

I went by midday so that only 3 vegan options available, but obviously when they go earlier on tomorrow they have up to 8 options. it was really good.

I've stopped here a number of times for a vegan doughnut when I've been in the area. I've tried a glazed, a couple filled, and a fritter. They've all been good. My favorite is the fritter. However, the Happy Cow description says eight varieties daily. Although I've not been there in the early morning, I've never seen anywhere close to that. At most I've seen three different kinds at a time. I still appreciate having ANY choices though!
