Big T Maid-rite - Toledo

This Maid-Rite in Tama/Toledo was on our duty to go to the list on our vacation to see family in Iowa. Some things never change and the memories we came here with our (big) grandparents 20-30 years ago alive. We love the Magdrites here. Onion rings are also so good. I wish we had room for cake. Grandpa loved coming to fried chicken.

Fried food is always on point, you can taste and see that they thoroughly cleanse their hairy and regularly use fresh oil. If you travel this way, it is an affordable meal of excellent quality with great customer service!

One of the best places. Good food, beautiful little town diner feel, very affordable prices and fast / friendly service. What else do you want? There is a reason why locals fill this place for lunchtime, it's great! Not many places where you can get a meal for under $10, but this is one of them. Very recommended.

Big spaghetti and chocolate shake! Very nice staff! The Maid-Rite with cheese and chili is huge and delicious! Everything on the menu is cheap and so affordable! I recommend this restaurant!

Good food, good prices and GREAT service. The first time I asked if they had rhubarb pie. The second time that waitress remembered and checked. No rhubarb. She then told me if I knew I was coming a day ahead, they would have a fresh one made. How about that?
